How to Add Gratitude to Your Life Each Day!
Every day is a day to remind ourselves what we are thankful for. In business, it may be a strong loyal client base, a contract win, or even the fact that we enjoy doing what we do. For personal gratitude, it may be our family, our friends, or being able to stay home with our kids or pets each day working from home.
The thing about gratitude that is important to remember, is that it really should be something we think about and demonstrate all year long, every day.
It is easy for all of us to get wrapped up in our daily lives with our day to day stuff that we do, our deadlines, our bills, our housework, cooking, taking care of others, answering and wading through numerous emails, and it is easy to forget about being grateful.
Here are some ways to add gratitude into your day each day:
- When you wake up in the morning, think of 3 things that you are grateful for. This can be anything, the sun is shining, you have an event, your cat is laying next to you purring, lol.
- Keep a daily gratitude journal. At the end of each day write down at least one thing you are grateful for. You start the day being grateful and end it the same way. You can look at this when feeling down.
- Express your appreciation to people you interact with. This can be your significant other, people you work with or even the person that waits on you while out eating or shopping. Saying Thank You can greatly boost someone’s day and yours too!
You will be amazed at how happy and calm doing this makes you and how you will look forward to each day and see the beauty and great things that can happen for you and everyone else!
